Meet the counselors
Ms. Jennifer Sterling, 6th Grade Counselor
Ms. Sterling joined Northley Middle School in the 2024–2025 school year and currently serves as the sixth-grade counselor. She brings over 11 years of experience as a school counselor and behavior specialist. Ms. Sterling earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware and holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Eastern University. In addition to her counseling role, she coaches Northley Girls Lacrosse and serves as the Student Council Advisor. Ms. Sterling is excited to be part of the Northley team.

Mrs. Gina Crowley, 7th Grade Counselor
Mrs. Crowley is the seventh-grade counselor and is beginning her 13th year at Northley Middle School. She also completed her internship at Northley, making her deeply familiar with the school community. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from West Chester University and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Villanova University. Mrs. Crowley enjoys working with the seventh-grade students and staff and is proud to continue her work at NMS.

Ms. Julia Gantz, 8th Grade Counselor
Now in her third year at Northley Middle School, Ms. Gantz serves as the eighth-grade counselor. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Scranton and a Master’s Degree in Education from Eastern University. While completing her graduate studies, she also served as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Eastern during the 2020–2021 and 2021–2022 seasons. This year, Ms. Gantz will coach girls basketball at Northley and looks forward to supporting the Class of 2030.

Ms. Theresa Fallon, Counseling Secretary
Ms. Fallon has been part of the Penn-Delco School District since 2009 and brings a wealth of knowledge from her work across various departments. Since 2011, she has supported Northley Middle School in roles including attendance and main office secretary. Now entering her second year as Counseling Secretary, Ms. Fallon looks forward to continuing to support the counselors, students, and staff with her experience and dedication.
