Meet the counselors
Mrs. Gina Crowley
The sixth-grade counselor, Mrs. Crowley, is starting her 12th year at Northley Middle School. She completed her internship experience at Northley, as well. She graduated with her Master's Degree in School Counseling from Villanova University and her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from West Chester University. Mrs. Crowley is overjoyed to be working at NMS with the 6th grade students and wonderful staff!

Ms. Julia Gantz
The seventh-grade school counselor, Ms. Gantz is in her second year as a counselor at Northley Middle School. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Scranton and holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Eastern University where she was the assistant women’s basketball coach for the 2020-2021, and 2021-2022 seasons. She will also be coaching 7th grade girls basketball and is excited to be working at Northley Middle School with staff and the 2030 class!

Ms. Jennifer Sterling
Ms. Sterling joined Northley Middle School during the 2024-2025 school year as the eighth grade counselor. Ms. Sterling comes to us with over 10 years of experience as a counselor and behavior specialist. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware and holds a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Eastern University. Ms. Sterling will also be coaching Northley Girls Lacrosse and is happy to be part of the Northley Middle School team!
