7th Grade Medical Detectives Lab: Learning the Science of Vital Signs
Seventh grade students in the STEM Medical Detectives class recently participated in a hands-on lab focused on the science of vital signs. Using real medical equipment, students measured pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and blood pressure as part of their study on collecting medical evidence.
The Medical Detectives course challenges students to think like investigators as they explore human body systems, analyze medical data, investigate disease outbreaks, and more. Through engaging labs and projects, students gain valuable insight into careers in medicine and other STEM fields while making meaningful connections between science and the real world.
